Shri Sudhakar S. Shetty
Shri Sudhakar S. Shetty, a native of Thumakane Village (Chikkamagaluru District, Karnataka), is the founder-chairman of JIRSM. He is married to Smt Sukalatha S. Shetty and is a proud father to Mr Pavan Kumar Shetty and Mrs Sheetal Shetty (who is married to Mr Vijay Raj Shetty, settled in Mysore). He is also a grandfather to Agasthya and Amarthya.
Career & Leadership
Over the years, Shri Shetty has made a significant mark in Karnataka’s educational & business sectors. He served as Vice-President of the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) from 2016-17, became Senior Vice-President in 2017-18 and served as President in 2018-19.
Vision & Values
He brings a clear vision for JIRSM: an “institution of children’s university standards” that prepares young graduates not only for exams but for life. His guiding belief is that “There is no substitute for hard work” and “The end of education is character”.
Service & Recognition
Shri Shetty is known for his dedication to social service, especially to economically weaker sections. His work has earned him many awards, including:

- ARYA BHATA AWARD (2004), Aryabhata Cultural Organization, Bangalore
- Global Man Award (2006), World Kannada Cultural Convention, Bahrain
- Lifetime Achievement Award 2018 ‘Kotigobba’, Mysore Hotel Owners Association
- Business Man of the Year 2019, awarded by the Times of India
