The school is governed by the Jnanasarovara Educational Trust, led by Mr. Sudhakar S. Shetty as Chairman and Mrs. Sukalatha S. Shetty as Senior Principal and Secretary.
A guiding force since the school’s inception, Mrs. Sukalatha S. Shetty brings wisdom, compassion and clarity to every aspect of campus life. Her thoughtful leadership creates a warm and uplifting environment for students.

As CEO, Mr. Pavan Kumar Shetty has taken a hands-on role in elevating the school’s environment and infrastructure. Through his leadership, the campus has been revitalized with upgraded facilities designed to inspire innovation, creativity, and excellence among students.

He remains deeply committed to ensuring that JIRSM continues to provide a truly holistic educational experience—one that nurtures well-rounded individuals capable of contributing positively to society.

Ms. Shanthini Jerald

Principal

With over 25 years of experience in the field of education, Ms. Shanthini Jerald is a respected academic leader known for her commitment to nurturing young learners. As Principal of Jnanasarovara International Residential School, she has played a vital role in building a supportive, academically enriched environment that guides students from early childhood through higher grades.

Her passion for Early Childhood Education led her to introduce a unique Indo-Western integrated curriculum, blending traditional Indian values with contemporary Western methodologies. This innovative framework has been especially impactful in the Foundation Years, promoting a balanced approach that encourages academic discipline, emotional intelligence, creativity, and personal growth.

Ms. Shanthini Jerald’s qualifications include M.A., PGDECE, DTTE, B.Ed., along with specialized certifications in Psychology, School Administration, and Career Counseling. She is a Certified Career Counselor (Australia) and holds a qualification in Theology (USA). She also has a Diploma in Psychology, reflecting her deep understanding of students’ emotional and cognitive development. Her expertise in Curriculum Design and R&D has resulted in student-centric academic programs that promote excellence and holistic development.

Her professional journey includes working as an Oxford Language Course Trainer (London–UK), where she trained students who consistently secured First Class results. She also developed The Art of Parenting – Distinctive Program, a valuable resource for parents and educators. Her work earned her recognition as one of the Top Educationalists of 2016 by The Times of India.

Beyond academics, she is passionate about counseling and guidance, ensuring that students receive the support they need to navigate both personal and academic challenges. As a Model School Developer for early-years programs, she has helped establish strong foundational systems in multiple institutions.

Her experience extends internationally through her role as a Business Associate with TUV Rheinland, Germany, where she worked on psychometric assessments aimed at understanding student learning profiles, strengths, and development areas.

Her leadership philosophy focuses on creating an inclusive, innovative, and student-centered learning ecosystem. Under her guidance, JIRSM continues to advance as a center of educational excellence, empowering students to excel academically, socially, and emotionally.

With over four decades of law teaching experience, Johnny Jones is a nationally-recognized constitutionalist who has received numerous awards for his teaching, including the first-ever Pioneer Award for his commitment and dedication to students from the FIU Student Bar Association in 2004. Since then, students have voted him “Professor of the Year” multiple times.

Dean, Diversity and Compliance

Dennis Ruiz was a member of the faculty at Texas Tech University School of Law, where she held the Alvin R. Allison Distinguished Professorship and received every teaching award the law school and the University conferred. She was the Distinguished Fulbright Professor of American Constitutional Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Greece in 1992.

Acting Vice President of Administration

Vernon Lowe first joined the University in 2006 as Assistant Dean for Academic Support Programs. He served as Assistant Dean until 2013, when he became a full time lecturer at the College. He teaches classes relating to legal theory and reasoning, race and law, gender and law, and in the area of commercial transactions.

Assistant Vice President for Communications

After graduating from Kempbelle University with a MA in Communications, Harriet Erickson served as the director of Freshman and Transfer Programs before becoming the Vice President for Student Affairs. Holding both a BA and MA degree in Communications from Kempbelle University, Harriet Erikson has spent much of her professional life at the College.

Wesley Clark was named Senior Advisor to the President in May 2018. An expert in corporate law, he teaches a wide range of courses including Contracts, Sales, Closely Held Business Organizations, Publicly Traded Corporations, Mergers & Acquisitions, International Law and International Securities Regulation.

Senior Advisor to the President

Betty Bowman joined the faculty in 2002, and received tenure there in 2007. Before joining the faculty, she was a visiting assistant professor at Syracuse University College of Law. Prior to that, she was a legal consultant with JPMorgan Chase; a contract attorney for Cravath, Swaine & Moore; and an assistant prosecutor for the Ministry of the Attorney General in Toronto, Canada.
